CEGSA is the Computers in Education Group in South Australia. Part of its mission is to keep members up to date on emerging technologies which may be applicable in education.
The purpose of this workshop is for you to
gain an overview of Web 2.0 tools
have the opportunity to undertake a guided exploration and see good examples of each tool
understand how to find and use these resources
reflect on the possibilities these tools may have in your setting and decide which ones, if any, you need to know more about
as time permits try out a number of these tool. If nothing else it is recommended that you sign up with del.icio.us (or similar) so that any useful site that you discover you can be bookmarked and shared.
Note that in an overview workshop such as this it will not be possible to go into too much detail on any particular tool.
